We spend a great deal of time in the office, mostly under artificial light and in rooms that are often too dark. With the right products and careful design — room by room where necessary, taking into account the particular conditions and workflows — our company can create modern, functional office lighting that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of either energy efficiency or occupational safety.

Modern LED technology, however, holds far more in store than this. The colour temperature of the luminaires can be matched to the time of day, for example. In the morning a warmer colour temperature can be set, switching to a cooler one during the day, and then returning to a warmer light in the evening so that our body clock is not disrupted. This technique lets us create the quality of light in which we feel comfortable. The light of modern, flicker- and glare-free panels reduces the fatigue that so often occurs under inadequate lighting. LED luminaires are practical to operate as well: the (dimmable) LED panels and their wiring can simply be recessed into the suspended ceiling in place of the conventional panels. Their maintenance requirement is very low too — panels rated for 40,000–50,000 operating hours will not need replacing any time soon, even in an office with long opening hours.

In every field of lighting, including office lighting, our company aims for efficient and economical solutions. Office lighting is usually made up of two parts: the natural light coming through the windows and the light from the luminaires. Wide-beam panels provide excellent light levels with minimal glare. This lighting is generally switched on at the start of the working day and left on throughout. The natural light from the windows is therefore not taken into account at all, even though it illuminates the areas near the windows perfectly well. This is where the possibilities offered by lighting control come in. A combined system of dimmable panels and light sensors no longer needs to be switched manually, and it uses only as much energy as is needed to maintain even illumination under the conditions of the moment.
